As a reminder, this is our updated collection schedule for this week:
Monday (Jan 26) - NO COLLECTIONS
Tuesday (Jan 27) - NO COLLECTIONS
Wednesday (Jan 28) - Monday collections
Thursday (Jan 29) - Tuesday collections
Friday (Jan 30) - Wednesday collections
Saturday (Jan 31) - Thursday collections
Sunday (Feb 1) - Friday collections
SPECIAL NOTE FOR RESIDENTS:
We will do everything in our power to safely collect this week; however, due to some streets being in better condition than others, some will be collected on schedule while others will not.
To maximize your chances of getting your trash/recycling collected on time, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND placing your containers on the street, in front of the snowbank (example attached), as close to the plowed roadway as possible. Please do not place containers behind or on top of snowbanks.
Please see the attached hypothetical example (map image) where the red highlighted street might be covered with ice and Old Centreville Rd might be clear. We would recommend residents in this circumstance to place their bins at the green check marks.
