CDL Driver – Automated Side Loader (ASL)
Garby Disposal Services is seeking experienced CDL Drivers to operate our Automated Side Loader (ASL) trash trucks. This role is ideal for drivers who value hard work, accountability, and ownership. As the sole operator of an ASL truck, you’ll be responsible not only for safe and efficient driving, but also for running the hydraulic arm that collects and empties carts at every stop. Responsibilities
- Operate an Automated Side Loader trash truck safely and efficiently on residential routes.
- Use the truck’s automated arm to lift, empty, and replace trash and recycling carts.
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting maintenance issues and keeping the truck clean inside and out.
- Work consistent 10–12 hour shifts in all weather conditions.
- Follow safety procedures to protect yourself, the truck, and the community.
- Represent Garby Disposal with professionalism and reliability in the neighborhoods we serve.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL (Class B minimum) with a clean driving record.
- Experience required operating commercial vehicles; ASL or other refuse truck experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage long shifts (10–12 hours) safely and reliably.
- A mindset of hard work, accountability, and ownership.
- Strong focus on safety, consistency, and equipment care.
