Trash Helper – Rear Load Trash Truck
Garby Disposal Services is hiring Trash Helpers to work alongside our CDL Drivers on rear load trash trucks. This role is physically demanding and requires a strong work ethic, accountability, and a willingness to take ownership of the job. Helpers ride on the back of the truck, collect waste and recycling, and ensure every stop on the route is handled safely and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Ride on the back of a rear load trash truck between stops.
- Safely load waste, recycling, and yard waste into the truck.
- Work 10–12 hour shifts in all weather conditions.
- Assist the driver with keeping the truck clean inside and out.
- Stay alert, practice safe riding, and follow all company safety procedures.
- Represent Garby Disposal professionally in neighborhoods served.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in waste collection or other physically demanding outdoor work preferred.
- Ability to handle long shifts (10–12 hours) in all weather conditions.
- Must be comfortable riding on the rear of a truck.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to accountability, ownership, and safety.
- Team player with reliability and consistency.
